Thursday Evening January 28 6-8pm Introduction to Knitting $20.00 + supplies
This class is for the first time knitter or a new knitter who needs to learn the basics of cast-on, bind-off, knit stitch and gauge in relation to yarn and needle size. We will also “un-ravel” the mystery of the yarn label. We will start a simple scarf in class.
Saturday Morning January 30 10-12am Needlefelt Valentine Heart Pin or Necklace $30.00 includes wool
Felting needle and foam $4.50 additional fee
Join us for some “Heart felt” fun. Learn how to Needlefelt a 3-D Heart that can be made into a pin or necklace.

Saturday Morning February 6 10-12am NeedleFelt Silk Scarf $35.00 includes dyed silk scarf and ½ oz wool
Does not include NeedleFelting tools, tools are sold separately.
Needlefelt wool fibers and yarn to a hand dyed silk scarf for a one of a kind piece of wearable art.
Thursdays Evenings February 11,18and 25 6-8pm Knitting a Triangular Lace Shawl $40.00 plus supplies
Taught by Bry LaRue (It’s easier than you think!) If you can: Cast on, Knit and Purl. Then you can knit lace!
This class will cover: Chart reading, Tab cast-on, Yarn overs, Directional & double decreases, Reading your lace knitting, Stretchy bind-off, Blocking and use of a lifeline. You will need: 450 yds Sock or Fingering weight yarn, Circular needle in size 5, 6, or 7 and Stitch markers to be purchased at beginning of first class or sometime before class. Blocking tools will be discussed at last class.

Saturday Mornings February 20 and 27 10-12am Knitted Neckwarmer $45.00 includes hand-dyed yarn. This scarf utilizes an interesting twisted knit stitch that is easy to learn and makes a flat woven look.
Must be able to cast-on, knit and bind-off
Thursday Evening March 4 6-8pm Chain Link scarf $20.00 plus supplies
Knitting in the round is explored to knit a scarf that is a chain. Must be able to cast-on, knit and bind-off
Saturday Mornings March 6 and 13 10-12am Knitted Earflap Hat $45.00 includes 2 balls of Safir Yarn
Techniques covered in this class include, Knitting in the round on circular and double point needles, crown decreases, picking up stitches, I-cord and Pom Pons
Must be able to cast-on, knit and bind-off
Thursday Evenings March 11,18 and 25 6-8pm Child size Sock Class $45.00 Plus cost of needles ,Includes 1 ball of Encore Sock yarn Magic loop is a fun way to knit a sock (The magic loop is one long circular needle). Learn how to knit with the magic loop, increases, decreases, short row knitting, 3 needle bind-off and construction of a hand knitted sock while making a child’s sock from the cuff down to the toe. Must be able to cast-on, knit and bind-off

Saturday Morning March 27 10-12 Intermediate Knitting $20.00 plus supplies
Join me for a class to introduce new techniques to the knitter who knows how to cast-on, knit, purl and cast-off.
We will cover shaped decreases and increases, picking up stitches and yarn overs. You will be ready to pick out a pattern and create!
Spinning and Weaving Instruction available by appointment
Studio time is available for fiber preparation, spinning, dyeing and weaving
